The Journey to Our Own Gin!

Hello everyone,

Here is a quick update on our juniper plants! For those who might not know, juniper is the plant that produces the famous juniper berry, which is the essential base ingredient we need to make our future gin.

Here is where things currently stand in the fields:

• Patience is Key: The plants still need quite a bit of time to grow and reach maturity before they start producing any berries.

• Field Maintenance: Our student workers are currently hard at work weeding the area and clearing the soil around our plants.

• Great Growth: Even though the weeds shot up pretty quickly, our junipers have performed very well against the competition and have started to grow nicely!
