Agriculture

Gautier is turning the soil in most of the fields, or as they say in the business, he is rototilling. The next step is to apply lime, as per the agronomists' recommendations, in the coming weeks.

We also received our first green fertilizer, buckwheat, which we will plant in the fall.

Last Monday, Gautier and I went to see the used John Deere combine harvester that we bought in Quebec City.

Our mission was also to bring back a grain table that the carrier couldn't deliver by truck during transport.

Let's just say the people at the farm haven't often seen a BMW towing equipment like that...!

However, if you want my opinion, we put on quite the demonstration of a gentleman farmer in action!

Distillery

The city has approved the distillery project. They will forward their city council's decision to the Agricultural Land Protection Commission (CPTAQ).

Building

The firm Nature Humaine delivered the first draft of their design before our vacation.

For his part, JF, the master distiller, is working on the interior layout of the distillation equipment.
