Hello dear friends and collaborators,
Good news! Our farm manager, Gautier, is back from Saskatchewan. The timing is great, as we have plenty of developments on all fronts to share with you.
Marketing
The team from Content-content visited us to capture some video footage of our projects, featuring Jonathan from Écomestible, JF, the master distiller, and Gautier, who gave his very first interview to showcase our agricultural equipment.
Agriculture
We received our tractor on Wednesday!

By the way, I absolutely loved my first experience in the cab of a modern tractor!
As for preparing the leases for our additional lands, things are progressing well. I expect to secure the 70 acres of land on the other side of the river next week, with a 5-year lease. To give you an idea of the big picture, here are the lands we will have for organic farming this summer once all the leases are signed:
We also received the used Brillon cultivator, which will allow us to work the fields where weeds might have taken root. We will most likely put this equipment back on the market once the work on the fields is finished.
Distillery
I welcomed the mayor of Potton this morning. We walked the land and the distillery's implementation site. He is thrilled by the project!
Building
Our architect Stéphane has promised us a first draft of the building's concept upon my return from vacation on July 4th! No pressure, Stéphane!
